Seiring dengan bertambahnya peminat kopi dan berkembangnya bisnis kedai kopi di kota-kota besar seperti Bandung, Jakarta, dan Jogjakarta membuat trend kedai kopi menjadi semakin melejit. Selain sebagai negara peminat dan penikmat kopi, ternyata Indonesia juga dikenal sebagai salah satu negara di dunia yang memiliki biji kopi berkualitas super. Salah satu jenis kopi yang terkenal adalah biji kopi arabika jawa (java arabica coffee). Jenis kopi yang satu ini tumbuh subur di Pulau Jawa. Karena namanya belum begitu familiar, masih banyak pemula yang baru memulai bisnis kedai kopi masih kurang memahami bagaimana kualitas biji kopi lokal melalui pengaruh roasting untuk biji kopi arabika jawa tersebut. Penelitian ini mengimplementasikan metode statistik orde pertama sebagai ekstraksi ciri dan model pengenalan jaringan menggunakan Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) untuk mengidentifikasi kualitas biji kopi arabika jawa melalui pengaruh roasting dan dilakukan untuk menghitung tingkat akurasi identifikasi sistem. Penelitian ini juga berkontribusi pada komoditas masyarakat dalam bidang kuliner dan perdagangan yang berkaitan dengan jaringan syaraf tiruan yang akan membantu pelaku usaha kedai kopi pemula untuk mengenali serta mengetahui kualitas biji kopi lokal khususnya arabika jawa melalui pengaruh roasting untuk meminimalisir penggunaan biji kopi yang berkualitas kurang baik.

Along with the increase in coffee enthusiasts and the development of the coffee shop business in big cities such as Bandung, Jakarta, and Jogjakarta, trend the coffee shop Apart from being a country of coffee enthusiasts and connoisseurs, it turns out that Indonesia is also known as one of the countries in the world that has super quality coffee beans. One of the famous types of coffee is the Java Arabica coffee bean (Java Arabica coffee). This type of coffee thrives on the island of Java. Because the name is not so familiar, there are still many beginners who are just starting a coffee shop business, they still don't understand how the quality of local coffee beans is through the roasting of the Java Arabica coffee beans. This study implements first-order statistical methods as feature extraction and network recognition models using Learning Vector Quantization (LVQ) to identify the quality of Java Arabica coffee beans through the effect of roasting and is carried out to calculate the level of system identification accuracy. This research also contributes to community commodities in the culinary and trade fields related to artificial neural networks that will help novice coffee shop entrepreneurs to recognize and know the quality of local coffee beans, especially Javanese Arabica through the influence of roasting to minimize the use of poor quality coffee beans.
