PENERAPAN ARSITEKTUR KONTEMPORER PADA BANGUNAN CO-EX HOTEL BISNIS DI JL. IR H. JUANDA, BANDUNG

Kawasan Dago memiliki topografi dan pemandangan yang indah oleh karena itu terdapat banyak tempat wisata
menarik dan banyak dikunjungi turis. Wisata yang disuguhkan juga beragam, wisata alam dan wisata kota atau
city tour merupakan jenis wisata yang paling banyak diminati baik oleh wisatawan lokal maupun
mancanegara. Dengan meningkatnya kegiatan MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition) banyak pula
wisatawan bisnis yang datang ke kota Bandung untuk berbisnis sekaligus berwisata. Meningkatnya dua kegiatan
tersebut maka dibutuhkannya sarana penunjang berupa akomodasi penginapan yakni hotel. Hotel tidak hanya
sebagai akomodasi penginapan namun juga dapat digunakan sebagai tempat pelaksanaan kegiatan bersama
seperti acara convensi, meeting, dan lainnya. CO-EX Hotel dirancang sebagai hotel yang dapat menunjang
sektor pariwisata dan kegiatan MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition) yang dilengkapi dengan
fasilitas lobby, ruang pertemuan, ruang meeting, area makan, café, kamar, area renang dan olah raga serta ruangruang
lainnya. Penerapan konsep Arsitektur kontemporer dirasa cocok untuk bangunan CO-EX Hotel ini.
Arsitektur kontemporer merupakan gaya arsitektur yang mengikuti tren pada masa kini sehingga desain
yang dihasilkan menarik dan tidak ketinggalan zaman. Penerapan konsep arsitektur kontemporer pada
bagian façade bangunan CO-EX Hotel di harapkan dapat menambah daya tarik tersendiri bagi wisatawan serta
memberikan kesan nyaman, aman dan sehat mengadaptasi era new normal.

Abstract
The Dago area has beautiful topography and scenery, therefore there are many interesting tourist
attractions and many tourists visit. The tours offered are also diverse, nature tourism and city tours
or city tours are the types of tourism that are most in demand by both local and foreign tourists. With
the increasing number of MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, Exhibitions) activities, many
business tourists come to Bandung for both business and tourism. The increase in these two activities
requires supporting facilities in the form of lodging accommodation, namely hotels. Hotels are not
only as lodging accommodations but can also be used as places for carrying out joint activities such
as convention events, meetings, and others. CO-EX Hotel is designed as a hotel that can support the
tourism sector and MICE (Meeting, Incentive, Convention, Exhibition) activities which are equipped
with lobby facilities, meeting rooms, meeting rooms, dining areas, cafes, rooms, swimming and sports
areas as well as living rooms. -other room. The application of the concept of contemporary
architecture is considered suitable for this CO-EX Hotel building. Contemporary architecture is an
architectural style that follows current trends so that the resulting designs are attractive and not out
of date. The application of contemporary architectural concepts on the faade of the CO-EX Hotel
building is expected to add to its own attraction for tourists and give the impression of being
comfortable, safe and healthy in adapting the new normal era.
