Abstract

The most common habits that occur in children are oral bad habits, or bad habits in the oral cavity. Such as thumb sucking, mouth breathing, lip biting and nail biting. Nail biting occurs when a child is bored or restless, nail biting is felt to fill the boredom. But there are still many people, especially parents, who underestimate this bad activity. In fact, nail biting is a habit that has a bad impact on children's health. Such as paronychia, diarrhea, to tooth decay. So the number of diarrhea and skin infections is quite high in Indonesia. Thus, by making education about Onychophagia, it is hoped that parents can be more sensitive to their children's habits. This interactive book is designed full of illustrations, colorful and in it there are paper engineering techniques so that children can participate. Through interactive books, it is hoped that children can be educated in an interactive and fun way.

Abstrak
Kebiasaan yang paling umum terjadi pada anak-anak adalah oral bad habit, atau kebiasaan buruk pada rongga mulut. Seperti menghisap jempol, bernafas lewat mulut, menggigit bibir dan menggigit kuku. Menggigit kuku terjadi ketika anak bosan atau gelisah, menggigit kuku dirasa dapat mengisi rasa kebosanan tersebut. Tetapi masih banyak masyarakat khususnya orang tua yang menyepelekan kegiatan buruk ini. Pada nyatanya, kebiasaan menggigit kuku adalah kebiasaan yang mempunyai dampak buruk pada kesehatan anak. Seperti paronikia, diare, hingga kerusakan gigi. Sehingga angka diare dan infeksi kulit cukup tinggi di Indonesia. Dengan demikian, dengan dibuatnya edukasi mengenai Onychophagia, diharapkan para orang tua dapat lebih peka pada kebiasaan anak. Buku Interaktif ini didesain penuh dengan illustrasi, colorful dan didalamnya terdapat tehnik paper engineering sehingga anak dapat ikut berpartisipasi. Melalui buku interaktif, diharapkan anak dapat teredukasi dengan cara yang interaktif dan menyenangkan.
