Abstract
Sleman is part of Yogyakarta's Special Region, which is known for its tourism, culture, and education. Yogyakarta's Special Region is also an area in Indonesia that is rapidly developing in terms of economy, education, and development, among other things. The city's nickname, "the city of education," comes from the abundance of universities. As a result, Sleman's population is increasing year after year, a trend that is impacted by the number of migrants. As a result of these circumstances, the basic housing requirements have increased. The solution to this problem is to construct a vertical residence that focuses on global health issues during this pandemic era. COVID-19 (coronovirus 19) has had a significant impact on social and economic activity, limiting human activities. This is taken into account in the apartment's design. The biophilic principle was used in the design of the Nature Thrive Apartment building, which has two basement floors for parking and service areas, two podium floors with various supporting facilities, five tower floors with three types of residential units, and two circulation cores. vertical. This apartment is inspired by the concept of Nature in the Spaces, which strives to create an atmosphere that promotes health, fitness, and human well-being by incorporating natural elements directly, physically, and temporarily in outdoor and indoor spaces.
