PERANCANGAN SEPATU DENGAN KOMPONEN FASTENER BUCKLE STRAP UNTUK AKTIVITAS OLAHRAGA BERSEPEDA DI DAERAH URBAN

Pada penelitian ini kegiatan yang dilakukan adalah merancang produk sepatu sepeda yang didasari dari adanya fenomena bersepeda pada masa pandemi ini. Komunitas yang ditelaah adalah orang-orang yang memiliki hobi olahraga bersepeda (bukan atlit). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan desain produk berupa sepatu cycling shoes dengan menggunakan komponen fastener buckle strap untuk menunjang aktivitas bersepeda di daerah urban (urban cycling). Sepatu dirancang dengan harapan dapat membantu penopangan pada punggung kaki agar semakin kuat, memberikan sistem oprasional fastener yang lebih praktis, kuat, efesien dan aman untuk menunjang aktivitas user pada saat melakukan olahraga bersepeda di daerah urban. Hal ini dilatari oleh peluang berkembangnya tren olahraga bersepeda dimasa pandemi pada saat ini. Fokus dari penelitian ini adalah kebaruan kreasi, dari sebuah produk sepatu cycling yang dilengkapi dengan komponen buckle strap baru. Dari hasil penelitian ini ditemukan sebuah kebaruan yaitu berupa inovasi bentuk dan sistem fastener buckle strap yang memiliki kebaruan sistem penguncian yang lebih kuat, praktis, efektif dan aman ketika digunakan pada saat bersepeda. Output penelitian berupa sepatu sepeda yang dilengkapi dengan komponen buckle strap dengan desain khusus.

Abstract
In this study, the activity carried out was designing bicycle shoe products based on the cycling phenomenon during this pandemic. The communities studied are people who have a hobby of cycling (not athletes). This study aims to produce a product design in the form of cycling shoes using fastener buckle strap components to support cycling activities in urban areas (urban cycling). The shoes are designed with the hope of helping support the instep to make it stronger, providing a more practical, strong, efficient and safe fastener operational system to support user activities when cycling in urban areas. This is motivated by the opportunity for the development of cycling sports trends during the current pandemic. The focus of this research is the novelty of creation, from a cycling shoe product equipped with a new buckle strap component. From the results of this study, a novelty was found, namely in the form of an innovation in the form and fastener buckle strap system which has a new locking system that is stronger, more practical, effective and safe when used while cycling. Research output is in the form of bicycle shoes equipped with buckle strap components with special designs.
