PENERAPAN ARSITEKTUR INDUSTRIAL PADA BANGUNAN SEKOLAH MENENGAH KEJURUAN OTOMOTIF HITORI DI CIMAHI JAWA BARAT

Industri Otomotif merupakan sektor yang berkembang dengan sangat cepat baik dalam sekala besar maupun kecil. Untuk memenuhi kebutuhan perkembangan tersebut diperlukan Pendidikan Vokasi dalam hal ini Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan, yang dapat menghasilkan sumber daya manusia terampil dan relevan dengan kebutuhan di dunia kerja baik saat ini maupun di masa depan. Demi mencapai tujuan tersebut, diperlukan perancangan Sekolah yang berkualitas dan relevan dengan dunia kerja terutama di Kawasan Bandung Raya. Karena pada dasarnya gaya bangunan sekolah – sekolah vokasi di Cimahi memiliki gaya arsitektur yang cenderung sama yaitu Arsitektur Kolonial tanpa mencirikan bagaimana tipologi, bentuk dan material yang relevan dengan bangunan industri, mengingat bahwa siswa SMK Otomotif diharapkan bekerja di Kawasan Industri. Dengan begitu penerapan Arsitektur Industrial dengan mengikuti tipologi yang diterapkan pada bangunan industri dengan komposisi massa yang cenderung sama dan pengimplementasian material – material dasar pada rancangan bangunan. Selain memperhatikan unsur fungsional, perancangan Sekolah ini juga menerapkan secondary-skin sebagai tambahan pada bangunan agar mampu menciptakan daya tarik bagi para calon siswa peminat dunia Otomotif.

ABSTRACT
The automotive industry is a sector that is growing very fast, both on a large and small scale. To meet these development needs, Vocational Education is needed, in this case,Vocational High Schools which can produce skilled human resources and are relevant to current and future needs in the world of work. In order to achieve this goal, it is necessary to design schools that are of high quality and relevant to the world of work, especially in the Greater Bandung area. Because basically the building style of vocational schools in Cimahi has an architectural style that tends to be the same, namely Colonial Architecture without characterizing how the typology, shape and material are relevant to industrial buildings, bearing in mind that Automotive Vocational High School students are expected to work in Industrial Areas. That way the application of Industrial Architecture follows the typology applied to industrial buildings with the mass composition that tends to be the same and the implementation of basic materials in building design. In addition to paying attention to functional elements, the design of this school also applies a secondary skin as an addition to the building so that it can create attractiveness for prospective students who are interested in the automotive world.
