Abstract

ABSTRACT
Human resources in developing countries like Indonesia have very high potential. But the lack of alignment between human resources and advances in the availability of technology is still not directly proportional. Likewise with the transportation technology created and developed in Indonesia. The development of transportation in Indonesia has many challenges, one of which is the lack of facilities or media where skills in the automotive field can be honed. In addition, in this modern era, Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0 are being intensified, where automation, modernity, effectiveness, and the use of renewable energy have begun to reach a global scale. It is on this basis that the design of a Vocational High School (SMK) for the development of an eco-based automotive and industrial technology concept is carried out, which can serve as a vessel and media as a place to channel interests and advance the younger generation so that they can compete on a global scale in the field of automotive technology. The Techno-Artistic theme was chosen because it was considered to be able to assist in the design of Vocational High Schools (SMK) with the concept of utilizing renewable energy because it includes aspects of building design that use efficient and effective technology, the use of fast and low carbon materials, prefabrication, and also the use of photovoltaics as an energy source. key to the building to be designed. As an educational building, of course, it must be able to have a positive impact on local residents, the country, and even innovations that can make the world a better place.
