Abstract
In Indonesia, buildings or theme parks that utilize Gothic architecture are less popular among the general public compared to other architectural styles. This is influenced by the fact that Indonesian is not familiar with Gothic architecture in general. However, this lack of familiarity could serve as the main attraction for a theme park, capturing the attention of the Indonesian citizens. Therefore, the project 'Novigrad, The Witcher Inspired Theme Park' was launched. This theme park combines medieval architecture with the medieval fantasy narrative of The Witcher. In the design of Novigrad, the method of collecting primary data was conducted through a survey of Situ Cileunca, while secondary data was collected through literature studies on The Witcher series and Gothic architecture of the medieval era. The processed data utilized The Witcher theme as the foundation for its activities, with the medieval architecture theme serving as the backdrop for its structures. The result of this design process is a theme park that offers attractions featuring both outdoor and indoor activities inspired by The Witcher, and using buildings designed in the Gothic medieval architecture style as its focal points. It is anticipated that in the coming years, there will be more recreational destinations in Indonesia embracing the concept of Gothic architecture combined with European medieval fantasy themes, serving as an alternative to the existing theme parks.
