Abstract
The design of the Gaming & Esport Hub in Bandung aims to provide an integrated entertainment facility as well as a career development ecosystem in the gaming and esports industry. The main problem raised is the lack of integrated facilities that can accommodate community activities, competitions, education, and professional content production. The research applies literature study methods, user needs analysis, and comparative studies against global precedents to map space, technology, and operational standards. A futuristic architectural approach is used as a hybrid design theme that combines digital experiences and social interactions through flexible spatial planning, modularity, adaptive circulation, interactive lighting, facades, and smart building integration. The main programs designed include an esports arena, practice room, content studio, community area, cafe, and management and service space. The futuristic strategy is able to improve functional performance, user experience quality, and energy efficiency, while forming a strong architectural identity that is relevant to the digital culture of the younger generation. The Gaming & Esports Hub has the potential to become a catalyst for Bandung's esports ecosystem, not only as an entertainment venue but also as a center for sustainable development, collaboration, and innovation. The implementation of this strategy is supported by considerations of urban footprint, public accessibility, security, acoustics, and ventilation, so that the design is operationally ready, inclusive, and adaptive to changes in activity scale and technology. The futuristic design is a distinct part of the Gaming & Esports Hub.
