Abstrak
Perancangan Youth Center di Kota Bandung ini mengusung tema ekspresif dan dinamis melalui pendekatan arsitektur kontemporer, sebagai respons terhadap kebutuhan ruang kreatif bagi generasi muda. Latar belakang perancangan didasari perkembangan Kota Bandung sebagai pusat ekonomi kreatif dan kebutuhan fasilitas yang mampu menampung beragam aktivitas pemuda mulai dari edukasi, olahraga, seni, bisnis, hingga rekreasi dalam satu kawasan terpadu. Tujuan utama proyek ini adalah menciptakan wadah bagi Generasi Z untuk berekspresi, berinovasi, dan berkolaborasi secara optimal, dengan mempertimbangkan kenyamanan, fleksibilitas, serta aspek psikologis dan sosial. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskripsi, dimulai dari kajian Pustaka serta telaah terhadap sumber-sumber arsitektur kontemporer sebagai dasar eksplorasi desain, dilanjutkan eksplorasi konsep ekspresif-dinamis pada konteks perancangan Youth Center. Kebaruan desain diwujudkan melalui penggunaan fasad kinetik, sistem vegetasi vertikal, dan interior ruang fleksibel yang adaptif terhadap kebutuhan pengguna. Hasil perancangan diharapkan tidak hanya menjadi landmark kota yang inspiratif, tetapi juga katalis ekosistem kreatif dan inovasi urban berkelanjutan di pusat Kota Bandung.

Abstract
The design of the Youth Center in Bandung embraces an expressive and dynamic theme through a contemporary architectural approach, responding to the growing need for creative spaces among the younger generation. The initiative is grounded in Bandung’s evolution as a hub for the creative economy and the demand for facilities that accommodate a wide range of youth activities—including education, sports, arts, business, and recreation—within a unified setting.The primary goal of this project is to establish a platform where Generation Z can express themselves, innovate, and collaborate optimally, while prioritizing comfort, flexibility, and psychological as well as social well-being. This research adopts a qualitative descriptive approach, starting with literature review and an analysis of contemporary architectural sources as the foundation for design exploration. It is followed by conceptual development around expressive and dynamic design principles within the context of the Youth Center.Design innovation is materialized through the implementation of kinetic façades, vertical vegetation systems, and flexible interior layouts that adapt to user needs. The final outcome is envisioned not only as an inspirational urban landmark, but also as a catalyst for Bandung’s sustainable creative ecosystem and urban innovation.
