Abstract
Adolescence is a crucial phase in emotional and social development, which is greatly influenced by the surrounding environment. Teenagers need spaces that function not only physically but also support psychological comfort and social interaction. The design of the Youth Center in Bandung is approached through Psychology in Expressionism Linguistics Architecture, which views architecture as a medium for emotional expression and visual communication. This approach utilizes elements such as form, color, lighting, texture, and spatial arrangement to create an emotional atmosphere that aligns with the needs of adolescents. This study employs a qualitative method through literature review, observation, and user needs analysis. The findings indicate that designs incorporating expressionist elements can shape spaces that are communicative, dynamic, and supportive of active youth participation in social and creative activities. Flexible and open spaces are designed to encourage interaction, exploration, and self-expression. In conclusion, the application of psychological principles in architectural design contributes to the creation of environments that are mentally and emotionally healthy. This Youth Center is expected to become a safe and inspiring space for teenagers to explore their potential and strengthen social connections within a dynamic urban environment.
