PENERAPAN TEMA ARSITEKTUR KONTEKSTUAL PADA PROSPEROUS SENIOR LIVING, LEMBANG BANDUNG

Abstrak
Meningkatnya harapan hidup di Indonesia menarik perhatian khusus terhadap kebutuhan lansia sebagai kelompok masyarakat yang memerlukan lingkungan hunian sesuai dengan kondisi fisik, psikologis, dan sosial mereka. Dalam konteks ini, konsep Senior Living menjadi solusi yang dirancang khusus untuk memenuhi kebutuhan lansia dengan menyediakan fasilitas yang nyaman serta aman. Pendekatan arsitektur kontekstual diaplikasikan sebagai landasan desain utama untuk beradaptasi dengan lingkungan sekitar dari segi fisik dan iklim dalam perancangan Senior Living di Lembang, Bandung, sebuah daerah dengan iklim tropis dan potensi alam yang tinggi. Dengan mempertimbangkan dua aspek utama, yaitu pendekatan fisik yang mencakup penggunaan material bata merah dan kayu yang umum di sekitar Lembang, serta bentuk atap yang merepresentasikan gunung-gunung di sekitar lokasi. Selain itu, fasad bangunan berfungi sebagai pelindung dari panas sinar matahari yang berasal dari arah barat dan timur. Pendekatan alam dari segi iklim dan tapak spesifik membuat aspek pendekatan fisik lebih terintegrasi dengan karakteristik lokasi melalui pembentukan gubahan massa dan optimalisasi potensi site. Diharapkan desain Senior Living yang dihasilkan mampu menciptakan lingkungan yang nyaman, sehat, dan harmonis bagi para lansia.

Abstract
Memory Increasing life expectancy in Indonesia draws special attention to the needs of the elderly as a group of people who need a residential environment that suits their physical, psychological and social conditions. In this context, the Senior Living concept is a solution specifically designed to meet the needs of the elderly by providing comfortable and safe facilities. The contextual architectural
approach is applied as the main design basis for adapting to the surrounding environment in terms of physical and climate in designing Senior Living in Lembang, Bandung, an area with a tropical climate and high natural potential. By considering two main aspects, namely the physical approach which includes the use of red brick and wood materials which are common around Lembang, as well as the shape of the roof which represents the mountains around the location. Apart from that, the building facade functions as protection from hot sunlight coming from the west and east. The natural approach in terms of climate and specific sites makes aspects of the physical approach more integrated with location characteristics through the formation of mass composition and optimization of site potential. It is hoped that the resulting Senior Living design will be able to create a comfortable, healthy and harmonious environment for the elderly.
