KAMPANYE BODY POSITIVITY UNTUK REMAJA PEREMPUAN MELALUI PERANCANGAN ZINE

The design of "Body Positivity Campaign for Teenage Girls" is an effort shown as a preventive attitude of mental disorders caused by body dissatisfaction of teenage girls due to beauty standards that continue to grow in line with the rapid use of social media, especially Instagram. The campaign on body positivity or the acceptance and cultivation of a positive view of all parts of the body is packaged in a zine design both physically and digitally equipped with fun visuals and interactive media such as Instagram filters in the form of augmented reality. The purpose of the zine design is self-discovery, so that teenage girls know and accept their bodies better, to know the right way to take care of themselves and increase their self-confidence. This design was prepared using a mixed method of combining qualitative and quantitative so as to produce descriptive data as well as data that supports the design to match the insights of the target audience, then the data is processed through a creative process with the design thinking method. The results of the zine design received a positive response from the target audience that the message was well conveyed and helped the audience to get to know their body. Even so, some layouts can be improved to make it easier for readers.

Abstrak
Perancangan “Kampanye Body Positivity untuk Remaja Perempuan” ini merupakan sebuah upaya yang ditunjukkan sebagai sikap preventif terjadinya gangguan mental yang disebabkan oleh ketidakpuasan tubuh remaja perempuan akibat standar kecantikan yang terus berkembang sejalan dengan semakin pesatnya penggunaan media sosial, terutama Instagram. Kampanye mengenai body positivity atau penerimaan serta penumbuhan pandangan positif terhadap seluruh bagian tubuh ini dikemas dalam perancangan zine baik secara fisik maupun digital dilengkapi dengan visual yang menyenangkan dan media interaktif seperti filter Instagram berupa augmented reality. Tujuan perancangan zine adalah self-discovery, agar remaja perempuan lebih mengenal dan menerima tubuhnya, hingga mengetahui cara yang tepat untuk merawat diri serta meningkatkan kepercayaan dirinya. Perancangan ini disusun menggunakan metode campuran dari penggabungan kualitatif dan kuantitatif sehingga menghasilkan data deskriptif serta data yang mendukung rancangan agar sesuai dengan insight target audiens yang kemudian data tersebut diolah melalui proses kreatif dengan metode design thinking. Hasil perancangan zine mendapat respon positf dari target audiens bahwa pesan tersampaikan dengan baik dan membantu audiens untuk mengenal tubuhnya. Meskipun begitu, beberapa layout dapat diperbaiki untuk mempermudah pembaca.
