Abstract

Building a strong brand association is a crucial step for businesses. A brand with strong associations
can create a positive image and add value to the business, establishing a distinctive identity. F2 Cafe,
located in Rantauprapat City, North Sumatra, also aims to create a strong brand identity. The rising
trend of cafes in Rantauprapat has led to a decline in F2 Cafe's sales over the past year, despite
experiencing success in 2021-2022. Therefore, the brand association design here aims to enhance the
reputation of F2 Cafe and increase customer numbers once again. The chosen research method is
qualitative, focusing on data collection through observation and interviews. The final outcome will be
a new brand identity for F2 Cafe, including a Graphic Standard Manual as a brand guideline for the
cafe owners, promotional activities on social media, and mockups of menu books, products, and
merchandise. It is hoped that the people of Rantauprapat will recognize F2 Cafe once again and make
it their number one choice for family gatherings and gatherings with friends.
