Abstract

Artificial Intelligence is now widely discussed by the public as the era of technological transition has revolutionized all areas of industry and society. This brings both positive and negative impacts. One concerning impact of AI is the worsening of disinformation phenomena. However, it is important to understand that this issue is not solely due to technological but also involves human psychology. People of all ages are susceptible to hoaxes on social media, especially those aged 45 and above, who tend to accept information more easily due to limited knowledge and technology use. The spread of disinformation is exacerbated by the presence of Artificial Intelligence and deepfake, as their capabilities can manipulate and create highly realistic visuals, making it difficult to distinguish between original and AI-modified images. Therefore, this study aims to provide information and educate about the threats of AI and Deepfake disinformation and ways to detect it through digital campaigns. The research method used is qualitative research with data collection techniques including questionnaires, interviews, observations, and literature studies. Based on test results to the target audience, most have developed an awareness and desire to learn more about Artificial Intelligence and Deepfake. However, news and information must be continuously updated as technology rapidly evolves.

Abstrak
Artificial Intelligence kini banyak dibicarakan oleh publik dimana era transisi teknologi telah merevolusi segala bidang industri dan kehidupan masyarakat, hal itu membawa dampak positif sekaligus dampak negatif. Salah satu dampak AI yang cukup mengkhawatirkan adalah memperburuk fenomena disinformasi, namun, perlu dipahami bahwa masalah ini bukan semata karena teknologi tetapi ada pada psikologi manusia. Semua kalangan usia berpotensi terpapar berita hoaks di sosial media, terutama yang berusia 45 ke atas yang cenderung lebih mudah menerima informasi karena keterbatasan wawasan dan penggunaan teknologi. Penyebaran disinformasi semakin diperparah dengan adanya kehadiran Artificial Intelligence dan Deepfake karena kemampuannya dapat memanipulasi dan membuat visual sangat realistik sehingga sulit mengetahui mana gambar yang asli dengan yang hasil modifikasi Artificial Intelligence dan Deepfake. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memberikan informasi dan mengedukasi tentang ancaman disinformasi Artificial Intelligence dan Deepfake serta cara mendeteksi melalui kampanye digital. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data kuesioner, wawancara, observasi dan studi literatur. Berdasarkan hasil tes ke target audiens, sebagian besar tumbuh rasa kesadaran dan ingin mengetahui lebih jauh mengenai Artificial intelligence dan Deepfake. Namun, berita dan informasi harus terus diperbaharui karena teknologi berkembang dengan cepat.
