Usulan Prioritas Perbaikan Kualitas Produk Kaos Basic di CV. XYZ Berdasarkan Metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis dan Analytical Hierarcy Process

Abstrak

CV. XYZ is a manufacturing company engaged in the fashion sector, one of which is produced by the company, namely basic t-shirt products. At this time the company has a problem, namely the number of defective products produced more than the tolerance limit set by the company at 1.5% of the total basic t-shirt production. The large number of defective products results in many losses for companies such as increased production costs to replace defective products, additional time needed to carry out the repair process and so on. Therefore, this research was conducted to minimize the level of defects that occur and reduce the losses experienced by the company. The methods used are the failure mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) methods. The FMEA method is used to identify the potential of the failure mode that occurs and the AHP method is used to find the weight of each FMEA criterion so that it knows the priority for improvement in the failure mode that occurs.

CV. XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan manufaktur yang bergerak pada bidang fashion, salah satu yang diproduksi oleh perusahaan yaitu produk kaos basic. Pada saat ini perusahaan memiliki permasalahan yaitu banyaknya produk cacat yang diproduksi lebih dari batas toleransi yang telah ditetapkan oleh pihak perusahaan sebesar 1,5% dari total produksi kaos basic. Banyaknya produk cacat mengakibatkan banyak kerugian bagi perusahaan seperti bertambahnya biaya produksi untuk mengganti produk yang cacat, diperlukannya waktu tambahan untuk melakukan proses perbaikan dan lain sebagainya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilakukan untuk meminimalisir tingkat kecacatan yang terjadi serta mengurangi kerugian yang dialami oleh pihak perusahaan. Metode yang digunakan yaitu metode Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) dan Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP). Metode FMEA digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi potensi dari mode kegagalan yang terjadi dan metode AHP untuk mencari bobot dari setiap kriteria FMEA sehingga mengetahui prioritas perbaikan pada failure mode yang terjadi.
