Abstract

One of the modified concrete that has been widely researched and is ultra-high strength ductile concrete is Reactive Powder Concrete (RPC). RPC mix design still using the trial and error method. If the RPC mix design can be done using a mix design method for ordinary concrete such as the Dreux Gorisse method, then the RPC will be easier to design. This study aims to develop an ordinary concrete mixtures designing method, such as the Dreux Gorisse method, to be applied to the RPC mixtures. The study was conducted by analyzing secondary data from the 28-day RPC compressive strength test taken from several reference journals. Secondary data analysis was performed using a modified Dreux Gorisse formulation for the RPC mixtures. The results of the analysis show the proximity between predictive compressive strength value and actual compressive strength value, so it can be concluded that the RPC can be designed by using the Dreux Gorisse formulation.
