ANALISIS SEBARAN LAND SURFACE TEMPERATURE (LST) DI KOTA BANDUNG DAN CIMAHI, SERTA KABUPATEN BANDUNG BARAT BERBASIS DATA CITRA SATELIT LANDSAT 8

Abstract

Recent studies show that July 2023 is the hottest month in history. However, during the dry season of 2023, a cold temperature phenomenon occurred, especially in some areas of Java Island, including the Bandung and surrounding regions. Data from the Central Statistics Agency in the last three years show that the city of Bandung consistently experiences a temperature decrease upon entering the month of July. Generally, in Indonesia, the months from April to September constitute the dry season and are synonymous with a temperature increase. The current research examines the temperature in Bandung and Cimahi cities, also West Bandung Regency within July 2013, 2018, and 2023. Temperature is assessed based on the values of Land Surface Temperature (LST) and calculated using remote sensing data and methods. The LST distribution results indicate a change in temperature range variation in the study area: in 2013, LST was detected in the range of 7°C – 33.5°C, in 2018, LST was detected in the range of 9°C – 34.9°C, and in 2023, the temperature was in the range of 14°C – 31.4°C. Comparing the LST calculation results with the observations from the Meteorology, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) stations shows a difference of 8°C, 6.5°C to 1.9°C. It hopes that these results will support for monitoring temperature and humidity changes as mitigation in the future in the areas of Bandung, Cimahi, and West Bandung Regency. ABSTRAK
Penelitian terbaru menunjukkan bahwa bulan Juli 2023 sebagai bulan yang terpanas dalam sejarah. Akan tetapi, pada musim kemarau tahun 2023 terjadi fenomena suhu dingin khususnya di beberapa daerah Pulau Jawa, diantaranya di wilayah Bandung dan sekitarnya. Data dari Badan Pusat Statistik dalam tiga tahun terakhir menunjukkan Kota Bandung mengalami penurunan suhu saat memasuki bulan Juli. Umumnya di Indonesia bulan April hingga September merupakan musim kemarau dan identik dengan kenaikan suhu. Penelitian saat ini mengkaji suhu di Kota Bandung dan Cimahi, serta Kabupaten Bandung Barat di bulan puncak kemarau (bulan Juli) tahun 2013, 2018, dan 2023. Suhu dikaji berdasarkan nilai LST (Land Surface Temperature) dan dihitung dengan menggunakan data dan metode penginderaan jauh. tahun 2013 LST terdeteksi berada di range 7 oC – 33,5 oC, tahun 2018 LST terdeteksi di range 9 oC – 34,9 oC, dan tahun 2023 suhu berada di range 14 oC – 31,4 oC. Perbandingan hasil perhitungan LST dengan stasiun pengamatan Badan Meteorologi, Klimatologi, dan Geofisika (BMKG) memiliki selisih 8 oC, 6,5oC sampai dengan 1,9 oC. Harapannya hasil ini memberikan masukan dalam monitoring perubahan suhu dan kelembaban sebagai mitigasi di masa yang akan datang di wilayah Kota Bandung dan Cimahi, serta Kabupaten Bandung Barat
