Abstract

Steel frame bridges are a type of bridge that is often found in Indonesia, steel frame bridges consist of bars connected using connections such as bolts. The connection on the steel frame is very important because the connection is the weakest axis in steel construction. In this study, the existing data of the Class A Steel Frame Bina Marga Standard bridge will be evaluated for the performance of its bolt connections, and what is reviewed in this study is seen from 8 bolt connection collapses (Gross melting, net fracture, Block shear Tension Member, Block Shear Gusset Plate, Bearing Tension Member, Bearing Gusset Plate, Shear on fasteners, and critical slip). The result of this study is to determine the performance of the bridge bolt connection which then becomes a reference for different connection configurations.
