Abstract

ABSTRACT
The high increase in vehicles in the city of Bandung, most of which are not accompanied by the renewal or addition of appropriate infrastructure, so that traffic congestion often occurs at conflict points such as intersections, such as at the Supratman intersection. This study aims to evaluate the performance of the Jakarta – Supratman Street Interchange after the Supratman Flyover based on the 1997 MKJI guidelines and determine the level of service at the intersection. Research that has been done before the Supratman Flyover, got the results of a degree of saturation of 0.89 and an average delay of 85 seconds/pcu. Based on the survey results during the pandemic, the largest traffic volume data was obtained, namely on the Jalan Jendral Ahmad Yani approach of 2,833 pcu/hour, the degree of saturation of 0.65, and the intersection delay of 10.91 seconds. Meanwhile, if using the data before the Supratman Flyover, the peak traffic volume data is 3125 pcu/hour, the degree of saturation is 0.72 and the intersection delay is 11,95 seconds/pcu. So it can be concluded that the construction of flyovers is effective in reducing congestion that occurs at the intersection.
