PENERAPAN KONSEP ARSITEKTUR MODERN PADA PERANCANGAN APARTEMEN “BANDUNG BLOCK OF HABITAT”

Indonesia merupakan negara dengan pertumbuhan jumlah penduduk yang pesat yaitu 4,5 juta orang pertahun. Bandung termasuk kota terpadat yang ada di provinsi Jawa Barat. Tidak hanya pertumbuhan penduduk asli yang menempati Kota Bandung, adapun pendatang luar kota yang memilih Bandung sebagai tempat tinggal karena alasan pekerjaan, pendidikan atau sekedar berwisata di Kota Bandung. Melihat bertambahnya pertumbuhan penduduk yang sebanding dengan terbatasnya lahan rumah konvensional, maka diperlukan hunian yang mampu beradaptasi dengan isu keterbatasan lahan yaitu apartemen. Semakin tingginya mobilitas masyarakat di Kota Bandung, perlu diimbangi dengan pola hidup yang efektif dan efisien. Sehingga pendekatan arsitektur modern yang simple dan efektif dapat menjadi solusi pada konsep bangunan apartemen. Pengertian Arsitektur Modern dipisahkan menjadi dua yaitu arsitektur yang berarti seni dalam merancang dan membuat struktur bangunan, serta modern yang berarti terbaru dengan karateristik yang mengutamakan kesederhanaan serta efektifitas ruang. Perancangan bangunan apartemen ini menggunakan pendekatan terhadap pola hidup masyarakat sekitar dengan mobilitas tinggi sehingga perlu tersedianya apartemen berkonsep modern yang berkarakteristik simple dan efektif serta dapat menunjang segala kebutuhan penghuni dengan fasilitas yang ada di apartemen

Abstract
Indonesia is a country with a rapid population growth of 4.5 million people per year. Bandung is one of the most populous cities in the province of West Java. Not only the growth of the native population who occupy the city of Bandung, the outsiders who choose Bandung as a place to live for reasons of work, education or just traveling in the city of Bandung. Seeing the increasing population growth that is proportional to the limited land for conventional houses, housing is needed that is able to adapt to the issue of limited land, namely apartments. The increasing mobility of people in the city of Bandung, needs to be balanced with an effective and efficient lifestyle. So that a simple and effective modern architectural approach can be a solution to the concept of apartment buildings. Understanding Modern Architecture is separated into two, namely architecture which means the art of designing and constructing building structures, and modern which means the latest with characteristics that prioritize simplicity and space effectiveness. The design of this apartment building uses an approach to the lifestyle of the surrounding community with high mobility so that it is necessary to provide modern concept apartments with simple and effective characteristics and can support all the needs of residents with the facilities in the apartment
