Perancangan Media Interaktif Berupa Buku Ilustrasi Anak Sebagai Media Edukasi Memperkenalkan Taman Wisata Mekarsari

Tourism is one of the creative-based service sectors that can maximize Indonesia's wealth potential, such as its flora and fauna. One of the tours that takes advantage of the wealth of flora and fauna that is around is the Mekarsari Tourism Park in the Cileungsi area. This research was made to find out what media is right for children as an educational medium to introduce Mekarsari Tourism Park about the things in it such as fruits, rides, facilities, and others through children's illustration books. From the results of the interviews conducted, the children felt less interested in going to Mekarsari Tourism Park and preferred to go to the mall with their parents because of the lack of information available. It is hoped that the illustrated book can attract the attention and interest of children to visit Mekarsari Tourism Park directly, not only for children, as well as become an educational medium for children while reading it.

ABSTRAK
Pariwisata merupakan salah satu sektor jasa berbasis kreatif yang bisa memaksimalkan potensi kekayaan yang dimiliki Indonesia seperti flora dan faunanya. Salah satu wisata yang memanfaatkan kekayaan flora dan fauna yang ada di sekitar yaitu Taman Wisata Mekarsari di daerah Cileungsi. Penelitian ini dibuat adalah untuk mencari tahu media apa yang tepat untuk anak-anak sebagai media edukasi memperkenalkan Taman Wisata Mekarsari mengenai hal-hal yang ada didalamnya seperti buah-buahan, wahana, fasilitas, dan lainnya melalui buku ilustrasi anak. Dari hasil wawancara yang dilakukan anak merasa kurang tertarik untuk pergi ke Taman Wisata Mekarsari dan lebih memilih untuk pergi mall bersama kedua orangtuanya karena kurangnya informasi yang ada. Diharapkan buku ilustrasi tersebut dapat menarik perhatian dan minat anak untuk berkunjung ke Taman Wisata Mekarsari secara langsung tidak hanya anak-anak serta menjadi media edukasi bagi anak saat membacanya.
