Penerapan Konsep Kontemporer pada Bangunan Parahone Convention and Exhibition Center di Era New Normal

Abstract

ABSTRAK
Convention and exhibition center merupakan fungsi bangunan yang menjadi salah satu
syarat wajib untuk suatu kawasan pemukiman yang akan dijadikan sebagai kota
mandiri. Bangunan ini memiliki fasilitas untuk seminar, pertemuan, pameran, dll. Saat
ini virus covid-19 telah menyebar di berbagai negara termasuk Indonesia berdampak
pada berbagai aspek kehidupan masyarakat yang pada akhirnya pemerintah
menghimbau untuk menerapkan new normal. New normal adalah suatu cara untuk
menangani wabah covid-19 dalam aspek kesehatan, sosial dan ekonomi masyarakat.
Selain memperhatikan aspek keamanan dari sisi kesehatan, new normal juga
memperhatikan fungsi bangunan dengan tujuan agar bangunan convention and
exhibition center dapat digunakan secara efektif dengan menerapkan konsep arsitektur
kontemporer. Penerapan arsitektur kontemporer pada bangunan ini bertujuan
memberikan desain yang menarik, ramah lingkungan dan aman, dengan menggunakan
kaca berukuran besar pada fasad agar cahaya matahari tetap masuk serta adanya roof
garden sebagai ruang terbuka hijau.

ABSTRACT
Convention and exhibition center is a building function which is one of the requirements
mandatory for a residential area that will be used as an independent city.This building
has a function for seminars, meetings, exhibitions, etc. Currently a virus Covid-19 has
spread in various countries, including Indonesia, has an impact on various aspects of
people's lives which in the end the government urges to implement the new normal. New
normal is a way to deal with the epidemic COVID-19 in the health, social and economic
aspects of the community. Apart from paying attention the security aspect from the
health side, the new normal also pays attention to the function of the building with the
aim that the convention and exhibition center building can be used effectively by
applying contemporary architectural concepts. Application of architecture the
contemporary design of this building aims to provide an attractive, friendly design
environmental and safe, by using large-sized glass on the agar facade sunlight still
enters and there is a roof garden as a green open space
.
