Perancangan Dan Pembuatan Prototipe Mesin Cuci Karpet Otomatis Tipe Rolling

Abstrak

Carpet is a textile material made from man-made fibers such as polypropylene. In washing the carpet can be done by brushing manually or with a carpet washing machine. Along with developments in the industrial sector, people need automatic carpet washing machines that are used to help clean carpets quickly and easily. So in this study the author will design and build a prototype of a rolling-type automatic carpet washing machine to help people wash carpets easily. The results of the design and manufacture obtained the dimensions of the frame 90x50x50 cm with an SF value of 1.8, clean water spray obtained the greatest moment at Mc point of 224.46 kg.mm with an SF value of 1.62 and carpet rolling obtained the greatest moment at Mc point of 1865.75 kg.mm with an sf value of 1.52. This tool successfully cleans dust, coffee stains and soy sauce in 1 washing process and for dirt and sand 2 washing processes.

Karpet adalah bahan tekstil yang terbuat dari serat buatan manusia seperti polypropylene. Dalam mencuci karpet dapat dilakukan dengan cara disikat secara manual atau dengan mesin cuci karpet. Seiring dengan perkembangan di bidang industri, masyarakat membutuhkan mesin cuci karpet otomatis yang digunakan untuk membantu membersihkan karpet dengan cepat dan mudah. Maka pada penelitian ini penulis akan merancang dan membuat prototipe mesin cuci karpet otomatis tipe rolling untuk membantu para masyarakat dalam mencuci karpet dengan mudah. Hasil perancangan dan pembuatan diperoleh dimensi pada kerangka 90x50x50 cm dengan nilai sf sebesar 1,8, spray air bersih diperoleh momen terbesar di titik Mc sebesar 224,46 kg.mm dengan nilai sf sebesar 1,62 dan penggulung karpet diperoleh momen terbesar di titik Mc sebesar 1865,75 kg.mm dengan nilai sf sebesar 1,52. Alat ini berhasil membersihkan kotoran debu, noda kopi dan kecap dalam 1 kali proses pencucian dan untuk kotoran tanah dan pasir 2 kali proses pencucian.
