PEMERIKSAAN SISTEM PROTEKSI TIANG PANCANG DERMAGA di BANTEN

Abstrak

Fenomena yang tidak dapat dihindari dari penggunaan logam baja pada bangunan lepas pantai terutama pada tiang pancang jetty coal II ialah korosif, karena kondisi lingkungan yang cukup ekstrim. Metoda untuk mencegah atau mengurangi terjadinya korosi dilakukan proteksi pada tiang pancang yaitu dengan Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) dan coating. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kondisi kelayakan tiang pancang dengan dilakukannya pemeriksaan secara visual terhadap tiang pancang dan lapisan HDPE, pengukuran ketebalan baja menggunakan alat Ultrasonic thickness gauge , pemeriksaan potensial menggunakan alat Polatrak CP-Gun. Hasil penelitian visual menunjukan semua tiang ditumbuhi marine growth, 7 tiang yang masih terlapis HDPE dan 6 tiang dengan HDPE terbuka. Pada pengukuran ketebalan, nilai rata-rata terendah yaitu 0,21 mm/tahun dan termasuk kedalam laju korosi tinggi. Nilai potensial pada 5 tiang pancang masuk kedalam rentang -800 mV hingga -1049 mV dan masih terlindungi secara katodik. 

ABSTRACT
An unavoidable phenomenon from the use of steel in offshore buildings, especially on jetty coal II piles, is corrosive, due to environmental conditions that are quite extreme. The method to prevent or reduce the occurrence of corrosion is carried out on the pile protection, namely Impressed Current Cathodic Protection (ICCP) and coating. This study aims to determine the condition of the feasibility of the pile by doing a visual inspection of the pile and the HDPE layer, measuring the thickness of the steel using an Ultrasonic thickness gauge, and checking the potential using the Polatrak CP-Gun. The results of the visual study showed that all the posts were covered with marine growth, 7 poles were still covered with HDPE and 6 poles with exposed HDPE. In thickness measurement, the lowest average value is 0.21 mm/year and is included in the high corrosion rate. The potential values for 5 piles fall into the range of -800 mV to -1049 mV and are still cathodic protected.
