Abstract

A power supply backup system is very important for generators when a blackout occurs. One of the backup systems is the battery. This research to determine battery health. The test method is carried out by measuring the voltage of the battery which is loaded with a dummyload with a capacity of 122 A. The results of this measurement can determine the battery working time, battery capacity, minimum battery voltage. Based on the IEEE 450-2020 standard, a battery is declared healthy if the battery capacity is not less than 90%, the battery has not reached the minimum voltage at the time of testing. The battery capacity of 913 Ah. The battery was installed on August 16, 20221 and tested on the same day. The test results showed that the working time was 7 hours. The battery capacity is 100%. The results are compared with standard battery testing and the analysis obtained is. The battery capacity is above 90%, the battery life is above 85% of the design life, and the minimum battery voltage is 101.8 V. From these results it can be concluded that the battery still meets standards and can be used.

Abstrak

Sistem pencadangan suplai daya sangat penting untuk pembangkit ketika terjadinya blackout. Salah satu sistem pencadangan adalah baterai. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menentukan kesehatan baterai. Metode pengujian dilakukan dengan mengukur tegangan baterai yang dibebani dummyload berkapasitas 122 A. Hasil dari pengukuran tersebut dapat menentukan waktu kerja baterai, kapasitas baterai, tegangan minimal baterai. Berdasarkan standart IEEE 450-2020, baterai dinyatakan sehat apabila kapasitas baterai tidak kurang dari 90%, baterai belum mencapai tegangan minimal pada saat pengujian. Baterai yang digunakan berkapasitas 913 Ah. Baterai dipasang pada tanggal 16 Agustus 20221 dan dilakukan pengujian pada hari yang sama. Hasil pengujian didapat waktu kerja adalah 7 jam. Kapasitas baterai yang didapat adalah 100%, Hasil dicocokan dengan standart pengujian baterai dan analisis yang didapat adalah. Kapasitas baterai di atas 90%, umur baterai diatas 85% dari umur desain, dan tegangan minimal baterai 101,8 V. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan baterai masih sesuai dengan standart dan dapat digunakan.
