PERENCANAAN DISTRIBUSI GAS LPG 12 KG MENGGUNAKAN METODE DISTRIBUTION REQUIREMENT PLANNING (DRP) DI PT XYZ

Distribusi adalah proses penyaluran produk dari produsen ke konsumen. PT XYZ merupakan suatu perusahaan yang bergerak dibidang distribusi atau agen liquefied petroleum gas yang berada di kota Bandung. Perusahaan belum mempunyai perencanaan distribusi yang terintegrasi sehingga pendistribusian tidak optimal. Saat ini proses distribusi gas LPG 12 kg perusahaan sesuai frekuensi pemesanan sehingga aktivitas distribusi terhambat dikarenakan tidak adanya perencanaan distribusi yang terstruktur. Permasalahan perencanaan distribusi ini dapat diselesaikan dengan menggunakan metode Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP). DRP ini dapat mengelola persediaan dan merencanakan kebutuhan distribusi serta produk untuk periode yang akan datang yang dibantu dengan ukuran kuantitas pemesanan dengan metode Lot for Lot (LFL) dan Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). Dari hasil penelitian menunjukan perencanaan distribusi menggunakan metode DRP teknik LFL mampu meminimalkan biaya distribusi dibandingkan dengan proses distribusi yang dilakukan perusahaan saat ini.

ABSTRACT
Distribution is the process of distributing products from producers to consumers. PT XYZ is a company engaged in the distribution or agent of liquefied petroleum gas in the city of Bandung. The company does not have an integrated distribution plan so that the distribution is not optimal. Currently the company's 12 kg LPG gas distribution process is according to the frequency of orders so that distribution activities are hampered due to the absence of a structured distribution plan. This distribution planning problem can be solved by using the Distribution Requirement Planning (DRP) method. This DRP can manage inventory and plan distribution and product needs for the coming period which is assisted by the size of the order quantity using the Lot for Lot (LFL) and Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) methods. The results of the study show that distribution planning using the LFL technique DRP method is able to minimize distribution costs compared to the distribution process carried out by the company today.
