PT Chitose XYZ is a company engaged in manufacturing with main products, namely tables and chairs. Currently the company has difficulty in balancing the existing workload on its assembly line for tables with the Manabu AH-01 type. Problem solving solutions are carried out using heuristic methods in determining the appropriate assembly path, in order to be able to produce a balanced assembly path. The various heuristic methods used include the Rank Position Weight (RPW), Region Approach (RA), Largest Candidate Rule (LCR), and Computer Method of Sequencing Operations for Assembly Lines (COMSOAL). The applications used in this study are Microsoft Excel and WinQSB. The parameters used in determining the assembly track are 3 parameters, namely the value of track efficiency, track balance delay, smoothness index. Based on the data processing that has been carried out to produce the selected method, the method is the Rank Position Weight (RPW) method with the results of 1 parameters that are superior to other methods. PT Chitose XYZ merupakan perusahaan yang bergerak dalam bidang manufaktur dengan produk utama yaitu meja dan kursi. Saat ini perusahaan memiliki kesulitan dalam menyeimbangkan beban kerja yang ada pada lintasan perakitannya untuk meja dengan jenis Manabu AH-01. Solusi pemecahan masalah dilakukan menggunakan metode heuristik dalam penentuan lintasan perakitan yang sesuai, supaya mampu menghasilkan lintasan perakitan yang seimbang. Macam metode heuristik yang digunakan diantaranya yaitu metode Rank Position Weight (RPW), Region Approach (RA), Largest Candidate Rule (LCR), dan Computer Method of Sequencing Operations for Assembly Lines (COMSOAL). Aplikasi yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu Microsoft Excel dan WinQSB. Parameter yang digunakan dalam penentuan lintasan perakitan terdapat 3 parameter yaitu nilai efisiensi lintasan, balance delay lintasan, smoothness index. Berdasarkan pengolahan data yang telah dilakukan menghasilkan metode yang terpilih, metode tersebut adalah metode Rank Position Weight (RPW) dengan memiliki hasil 1 parameter yang lebih unggul dari metode lainnya.
