STRATEGI PENINGKATAN KUALITAS PRODUKSI BERDASARKAN METODE LEAN SIX SIGMA DI PT. XYZ

ABSTRAK
PT. XYZ merupakan salah satu perusahaan yang berfokus dalam bidang industri manufaktur. Perusahaan mengalami permasalahan yaitu pemborosan bahan baku yang disebabkan oleh banyaknya produk cacat. Pemborosan yang terjadi dari segi waktu juga disebabkan perusahaan belum membuat jadwal maintenance mesin sehingga perawatan mesin hanya dilakukan apabila terjadi kerusakan ditengah proses produksi. Selama ini perusahaan belum melakukan upaya dalam perbaikan cacat. Metode yang dapat digunakan adalah lean six sigma. Lean six sigma dinilai dapat mengurangi produk cacat dan waste yang dapat menaikan nilai value pada perusahaan sehingga produk yang dihasilkan memiliki kualitas produk yang lebih baik. Setelah dilakukannya penelitian, hasil dari nilai sigma mengalami kenaikan yang pada awalnya sebesar 2,585 menjadi 2,721.
 
ABSTRACT
PT. XYZ is one of the companies that focuses on the manufacturing industry. The company is experiencing a problem, namely the waste of raw materials caused by many defective products. Waste that occurs in terms of time is also caused by the company has not made a machine maintenance schedule so that machine maintenance is only carried out if there is damage in the middle of the production process. So far, the company has not made efforts in the repair of defects. The method that can be used is lean six sigma. Lean six sigma is considered to be able to reduce defective products and waste that can increase the value of the company so that the products produced have better product quality. After conducting the research, the results of the sigma value increased from initially 2.585 to 2.721.
