ANALISIS RESIKO POSTUR KERJA MENGGUNAKAN METODE QUICK EXPOSURE CHECK PADA STASIUN KERJA PEMBENTUKAN CV. XY

Abstrak

CV. XY is a company that produces decorative and functional ceramics. The company focuses on the production of pitchers, vases, and antique items in various sizes, shapes, and colors. The shaping process is carried out using manual turning tools operated by operators who work in a seated and bent posture, adjusting to the size of the turning tools that do not match the operators' body posture. This continues for extended periods at their respective workstations. Operators have complained of injuries to their neck and back, affecting their health and subsequently reducing their performance and productivity. Given the background of the issue, an analysis of potential injury risks can be conducted using the Quick Exposure Check (QEC) method. The QEC method proves valuable in assessing potential injury risks, particularly to the upper body and the spine, from two perspectives: that of the operator and that of the observer, both focusing on the body parts frequently used during work. Research findings indicate that the obtained exposure level value is 66.6%. This exposure level value falls within the action level classification, necessitating corrective measures in the near future. If not addressed promptly, there is a potential risk of injuries to the operator's upper body parts such as the back, shoulders, arms, and neck, which could escalate over time, jeopardizing the operator's occupational safety. CV. XY merupakan perusahaan yang memproduksi keramik hias dan fungsi.
Perusahaan fokus pada produksi guci, vas, dan barang-barang antik dengan beragam ukuran, bentuk dan warna. Proses pembentukan dilakukan menggunakan alat putar manual yang dioperasikan oleh operator dengan postur kerja duduk dan membungkuk menyesuaikan ukuran alat putar yang tidak sesuai postur tubuh operator yang bekerja di stasiun kerja tersebut dalam waktu yang lama. Operator memiliki keluhan cedera pada tengkuk dan punggung yang mempengaruhi kesehatan serta berdampak mengurangi kinerja dan produktifitas operator. Berdasarkan latar belakang permasalahan, dilakukan analisis potensi resiko cedera berdasarkan metode Quick Exposure Check (QEC). Metode QEC berguna untuk melihat potensi resiko cedera khususnya pada tubuh bagian atas serta tulang bagian belakang berdasarkan dua sudut pandang, yaitu operator dan juga pengamat operator dengan memfokuskan pada tubuh yang sering digunakan ketika bekerja. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa Nilai exposure level yang didapat adalah sebesar 66,6%. Nilai exposure level tersebut
berada pada klasifikasi action level perlu tindakan perbaikan dalam waktu dekat, jika tidak dilakukan dalam waktu dekat akan berpotensi cedera pada bagian atas tubuh operator seperti punggung, bahu, lengan, dan leher semakin meningkat dan membahayakan keselamatan kerja operator.
