ANALISIS NILAI OVERALL EQUIPMENT EFFECTIVENES (OEE) SEBAGAI DASAR PENINGKATAN KEANDALAN MESIN OFFSET

PT. BMJ merupakan perusahan yang bergerak dalam bidang pembuatan paper and packaging. Permasalahan yang dihadapi selama proses produksi didapatkan bahwa mesin sering kali mengalami breakdown yang menyebabkan terjadinya downtime. Menurut Nakajima (1988) sebuah mesin yang mengalami downtime, speed losses, atau menghasilkan produk yang cacat menunjukkan bahwa mesin tidak bekerja secara efektif. Usaha untuk meningkatkan produktivitas mesin yaitu mampu beroperasi dalam range waktu yang disediakan tanpa mengalami kendala, kecepatan pekerjaan sesuai dengan kapasitas mesin, dan menghasilkan produk yang sesuai standar yang telah ditetapkan. Metode yang digunakan untuk melihat apakah mesin offset pada PT BMJ sudah berjalan secara efektif dengan perhitungan Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) yang mencakup ketersediaan waktu, performansi mesin, dan hasil produk. Berdasarkan hasil dari perhitungan OEE tersebut jika didapatkan hasil nilainya yang tidak ideal maka akan dianalisis penyebabnya menggunakan metode six big losses , diagram pareto, dan menemukan akar masalah menggunakan 5 why analisis sehingga dapat menemukan usulan perbaikan yang tepat.
 
Abstract
PT. BMJ is a company engaged in the manufacture of paper and packaging. The problems encountered during the production process found that the machine often experienced breakdowns which caused downtime. According to Nakajima (1988) a machine that experiences downtime, speed losses, or produces defective products indicates that the machine is not working effectively. Efforts to increase machine productivity, namely being able to operate within the time range provided without experiencing problems, work speed according to machine capacity, and produce products according to predetermined standards. The method used to see
whether the offset machine at PT BMJ has been running effectively is the Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) calculation which includes time availability, machine performance, and product yield. Based on the results of the OEE calculation, if the results are not ideal, the causes will be analyzed using the six big losses method, Pareto diagrams, and finding the root of the problem using 5 why analysis so that the right improvement proposals can be found.
