PT. House of Rattan merupakan salah satu perusahaan dalam bidang industri mebel. Pada lingkup proses produksi, terdapat permasalahan mengenai kualitas produk yang dihasilkan, salah satunya yaitu produk kursi makan. Seringkali ditemukan cacat atau ketidaksesuaian pada kualitas produk kursi makan sehingga untuk memperbaiki maupun mengatasi cacat tersebut perusahaan memerlukan waktu proses yang lebih lama dari yang seharusnya. Hal tersebut dapat mengakibatkan kerugian bagi PT. House of Rattan dalam aspek biaya maupun waktu. Pada penelitian ini metode Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) digunakan untuk menganalisis dan mengidentifikasi kegagalan maupun cacat yang terjadi pada proses produksi. Berdasarkan jenis kegagalan tersebut upaya pengendalian kualitas produk dapat ditetapkan. Setelah dilakukan penelitian, pengendalian kualitas untuk permasalahan PT. House of Rattan telah dianalisis dan didapati urutan prioritas beserta cara penanggulangannya.

PT. House of Rattan is one of the companies in the furniture industry. In the scope of the production process, there are problems about the quality of the products produced, one of which is the food chair product. Often found defects or discrepancies in the quality of dining chair products so that to fix or overcome the defect the company requires a longer processing time than it should. This can cause losses for PT. House of Rattan in terms of cost and time. In this study, the Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) method was used to analyze and identify failures and defects that occur in the production process. Based on these types of failures, product quality control efforts can be established. After research, quality control for pt. The House of Rattan has been analyzed and found the order of priority and how to deal with it.
